St. George Tri travel (May 9-10)

Postby pwakefield on Wed Apr 23, 2008 3:56 pm

If possible, I would like to carpool (either drive or ride) and caravan down, preferably the day before. Who is wanting to go down on Friday to get a quick swim in and relax the night before the race? I also have not reserved anything for sleeping arrangements. Any suggestions for that, too?

We're planning on going down either Wednesday night or Thursday morning. We don't have any extra room though. As far as places to stay, I know that Lindsey had reserved some hotel rooms in St. George that she will not be using - you might want to get a hold of her.

We're planning on doing a swim at the lake on Friday sometime with the club. Maybe like 3:00pm or something like we've done in the past. Hope to see everyone there!

Anyone else going who actually has room for me, or are there others who want to go who doesn't have a ride and is willing to share in gas? 8)

I am also a slacker! I have not made sleeping arrangements or driving plans. I can drive, either a large van that would fit 6-12 depending on if someone has a trailer for the bikes, or a small car, that would fit 2 with equipment. I am happy to chip in on gas as well if someone is driving. Let me know if anyone has plans for sleeping arrangements, I can't imagine that sleeping in my car will improve my times, but then again maybe it wouldn't hurt!

Okay Mike, let's plan on riding together. Depending on how many more need a ride will determine if we take your car (2 people), my truck (5 people), or your van (a lot of people).
